Amber Waves of Grain, Cans of Cold Beer (and a Glass of Bold Red)

Our country turns 249 tomorrow—and if that’s not a perfect excuse to crack open a cold one or pop a cork, what is? Don’t worry—we’ll be ready to celebrate even bigger for the big 250th birthday next year.

American brewers and winemakers are crafting drinks worth celebrating from sea to shining sea. Whether you're sipping a sweet red Pinot Noir or a hoppy IPA with a bald eagle on the can, this weekend is all about raising a glass to our nation’s creativity, diversity, and independent spirit.

Here’s a list of some of our favorite American craft beers and wines that we love. Some favorites might not arrive until the week after the holiday—but we’re working hard to get them here ASAP. Think of this as your go-to inspiration list for after the 4th. Swing by Girard Craft & Cork to grab what’s here now, and keep an eye out for the rest! We’re here to make sure your cooler and your wine rack are as patriotic as your playlist.
